Jamie Dimon is the chairman, president and CEO of JPMorgan Chase. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Dimon was born and raised in New York City and went on to attend Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Dimon worked two years in management consulting before enrolling at Harvard Business School. Here he earned his MBA degree as a Baker Scholar.
In March 2000, Dimon became the CEO of Bank One, one of the nation’s largest banks. JPMorgan Chase eventually purchased Bank One in July of 2004 and Jamie was named president and COO of the then combined company. A year later, Dimon rose to CEO of JPMorgan Chase and was chairman of the board. Today his net worth is estimated at around $1.1 billion.
